Love 2 Flash Mob!
On Sunday 29th January (yesterday) The Galleria in Hatfield didn’t know what hit them when 120 over 50s all took to the floor in a flash mob style routine.
The Sunday shoppers all stopped to a halt when queens ‘don’t stop me now’ Played loudly and everyone started dancing. The spectators seemed to really enjoy the performance and some even joined in when we held our workshop after the performance. Have a look at our Saracens Sport Foundation Facebook page where you can see the flash mob in action.
Our Love to Dance classes are targeted at people over 50 and with our aim being to get men and women dancing and socialising in our classes. We run 24 weekly classes across Hertfordshire and North London and hold many events throughout the year to get our participants performing and socialising wth one another such as Christmas parties, quiz nights, Wembley performances, salsa evenings and many more.
Lynda Andrews from our Royston class said "Thank you for arranging a great morning at The Galleria, we really enjoyed it.It was an excellent turn out and good fun."
These performance and social events are a great way to show people what we do and that dance is for everyone. During the workshop held after the flash mob we saw men, women and children all joining us in learning the new Wembley routine which our love to dance participants will be taking part in this year on Saturday 8th April when Saracens take on Harlequins at Wembley Stadium itself.
Dance is for everyone so if you are interested in getting involved or would like more information on the classes we run please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 0203 675 7215.
