AN INTRODUCTION TO SARRIES TALENT

2024 Program
We are proud to be an organisation that is somewhere people can learn, develop, and grow their careers.

We appreciate that being a student or graduate you may have limited experience, so we want to provide you with the support and guidance to help you learn and build your future career within the sports industry.

To help you decide if this program is right for you, here's a little insight into what joining Sarries Talent would involve.

At the beginning of July, we invite a group of 15 brilliant students and recent graduates into our business for a week of exclusive behind-the-scenes access. 

Each day, we take you through a 101 of a business area, with each of our teams designing a super interactive session and tasks for you to complete. The purpose of the week is to showcase the variety of roles available in our industry, particularly at entry level. 

Our goal is to make it clear what a business such as Saracens needs from its new starters, identify your transferable skills and fuel your understanding and interest. We want to show you our passion for our areas and demonstrate why doing what you love is important.

All we ask is that you come with good ideas, and your best energy!

What the week includes

In a week of intense sessions, and in two follow up days later in the year (December 2024 and April 2025), we explore the following: 

Women’s Sport – What is the size of the opportunity and how can we pioneer the growth of the Women’s game?

Foundation – Success is about people and looking after your community. From rugby for refugees to Love To Balance our Foundation enriches the lives of 19,000 local people. This is what success means to us.

Partnerships – How do we attract and secure the biggest brand partnerships?

Marketing, Media & Content – What does it take to become a global brand? How can we cement our place as London Saracens?

Match Day production – What does it take to conceptualise and action a world class matchday experience that gets 10,000 energised and on the edge of their seats?

Stadium Operations – How does Saracens manage, monitor and maintain a £50m stadium asset? How can we ensure our Stadium supports a pioneering matchday experience?

Hospitality – Saracens have the BEST hospitality matchday experience in the Premiership, how do we make this the best in the world?

Events – How do we organise incredible events across London with best-in-class speakers to entertain and delight our guests?

Sports Performance – What does winning mean at Saracens? What are the secrets to a decade of success and staying at the top?

ELIGIBILITY

This is an entry level programme; we are open to candidates who are looking to gain experience and understanding of the sports industry. There are a few eligibility elements that must be followed:

- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

- Candidates must be available to travel to StoneX Stadium and Old Albanian training ground, St Albans in July and 2/3 times in the year following.
