ABOUT SASHA

A true innovator of the game and inspiration on and off the court, Sasha has grown up with Saracens Mavericks and have been involved in the franchise for a number of years, helping Mavericks win the NSL title in 2010.

Sasha’s smile, infectious personality and laugh can be seen and heard all around her and she is a firm favourite amongst Saracens Mavericks fans.

Sasha made her England Roses debut in 2007 and was part of the 2014 Commonwealth Games team that finished fourth, losing out to Jamaica for a bronze medal. As well as Mavericks, Corbin has also played for Team Bath and Loughborough Lightning in the NSL, as well as New Zealand netball team, Northern Mystics, in the ANZ Premiership.

Sporting ability runs through her family with sister Kadeen also an England Roses international and a former Maverick. Their cousin Asha Philip is an Olympic, World and Commonwealth medallist in the 4 x 100m relay.
