Here are some key details ahead of Saturday's European Rugby Challenge Cup Semi Final against Toulon!

This will be the seventh European fixture between RC Toulon and Saracens and the third in the EPCR Challenge Cup (W1,L1). Both sides have picked up three victories a piece in the six clashes so far.

The last time RC Toulon and Saracens met was in the pool stage of the 2016/17 Heineken Champions Cup, where Saracens won both home and away en route to winning the competition.

Saracens are bidding to reach the final of the EPCR Challenge Cup for the first time, having fallen at the semi-final stage three times previously; losing out to Bath in 2002/03 and 2006/07 and then to Northampton Saints in 2008/09.

RC Toulon have won their last1 7 completed home matches in the EPCR Challenge Cup, their last such defeat  coming back in January 2009 to Bristol Bears; their run of 17 wins started with a win against Saracens.

Saracens have won five of their last six completed away games against TOP 14 opposition in the Challenge Cup, however their solitary defeat in that run came against Toulon (23-31 in October 2009).

Owen Farrell (Saracens) needs one more point to reach 50 in the EPCR Challenge Cup this season, it would be  the eighth European campaign in which he has reached at least a half century of points.

Saracens’ Billy Vunipola is the only player to tally 50+ carries in the Challenge Cup this season (56),he also ranks fifth for carry metres (348),ahead of team-mate Andy Christie in sixth spot(326).
