Saracens Mavericks is excited to announce a deal with University of Hertfordshire as our new Principal Partner.
The new agreement, which will last for the next three seasons will see the two organisations share their values and vision on supporting the development of Women’s Sport, with a focus on pathway programmes. Both parties have a long and illustrious history as they have been working together for the last 16 years, and are now entering a more formal agreement as the Mavericks prepare to get their new Vitality Super League campaign underway.
UOH will be the new Principal Partner of the Mavericks as well as the Lead Partner of the Pathway Programme, and their logo will feature prominently on the front of the Mavericks first team dress and on the front of all Saracens Mavericks pathway dresses.
Julie Morrow, Director of Women’s Sport detailed;
"University of Hertfordshire have been a long-standing supporter of the Saracens Mavericks. We have successfully transitioned our pathway athletes through to the HertSquad Performance Netball Pathway, where our players have been part of the successful National Championship winning teams of the past 3 years.
We are excited to be growing this partnership year on year and putting University of Hertfordshire on the map as the centre of excellence in the East of England for providing aspiring netballers a chance to learn, develop and play at a highly competitive level of university sport."
