INJURY UPDATE | Janna Slevinsky

Janna Slevinsky suffered a significant knee injury in the opening minutes of the Canada vs USA Autumn test match which has ruled her out of the remainder of the 21/22 season.

Janna has subsequently undergone surgery and will remain in Canada to rehab with the Rugby Canada programme.

Saracens would like to thank Janna for her contribution during her short period at the club and wish her all the very best for the future.

Head Coach Alex Austerberry thanked Slevinsky for her effort at StoneX Stadium.

"Although Janna was only with the club for a short period of time, she made a positive impact on and off the field. She displayed and embodied the values of Saracens, had an exceptional work rate and was always willing to help."

He added: "I have no doubt that her drive and desire will put her in the best place possible as she returns from injury. I want to personally thank Janna and also on behalf of Saracens wish her all the best in her pursuit of World Cup success. "
