Saracens Mavericks today announce that Kat Ratnapala will be leaving the club as this Vitality Netball Super League season has come to a close.

Kat, who has been Director of Netball for over five years, is a technically gifted coach who has always cared deeply for the Marvericks. She has created so many memorable moments with the club and players. Kat has been a huge part of the club for many years, working as an assistant coach under Karen Atkinson from 2012 to 2014, before later taking the Head Coach role. Kat is also a celebrated person across netball, as a player, club coach and more recently with the Vitality Roses. Lucy Wray, Saracens CEO said “It’s with great sadness that we are announcing that Kat is leaving the Saracens Mavericks. Her contributions to the team and more widely Netball has been absolutely inspirational. On behalf of everybody at the club, I would like to thank Kat for the endless hard-work, loyalty and passion she has shown throughout her time with us. I wish her the very best for the future.” Saracens Mavericks will announce the coaching setup for the 22/23 vitality Netball Super League over the coming weeks.
