Saracens is excited to announce the signing of Tom West from Leicester Tigers for the 2023/24 season.

The loosehead prop, who has a wealth of experience in the Gallagher Premiership will head to StoneX Stadium and add further depth to the front-row next year.

West, who is 27-years-old came through the Wasps academy and went on to make 78 appearances for them between 2016 and 2022.

He then signed for Leicester earlier this season for the remainder of the 22/23 campaign and has played his part in their late charge for the play-offs.

The 6ft 1” prop, who will add around 120kg to the scrum has represented England at Under 20’s level, and was also called in to the Senior Squad for the 2021 Six Nations campaign.

West is looking forward to a new challenge in North London.

“I’m really happy to be joining such a successful and prestigious club that has had a lot of success over recent years. This has allowed me to put behind what has been a tough year with Wasps.:

Director of Rugby Mark McCall is excited to welcome West to StoneX Stadium.

“Tom will be a fantastic addition to our squad and we are looking forward to him joining us this summer. His qualities are clear to see and with his set-piece ability we believe he will be a real success here.”
