Lotte Clapp signs new contract
Saracens is thrilled to announce that Lotte Clapp has signed a new deal to stay at the club for the 2022/23 season.
The club captain, who lifted the Premier 15s trophy for an incredible third time back in June has been central to the club ever since arriving back in 2013.
She was inducted in to the 100 Club recently and now has 126 appearances to her name on the wing for the Women in Black.
The former England international, who is now representing USA and aiming to make it in to their World Cup squad will now be looking to make it a decade at StoneX Stadium and celebrate the landmark by lifting a fourth Premier 15s title.
Head Coach Alex Austerberry is delighted that Clapp is staying at StoneX.
“Lotte has been and continues to be an outstanding performer and servant for Saracens. Superb on the field, hard working, great impact on both sides of the ball and fundamental to our transition game.
Lotte has grown in to a fantastic player and impressive leader and her form has deserved her return to the international stage. Lotte is a fantastic role model and I am delighted she has committed once again to Saracens. She has had a great impact on the group and I have no doubt she will be pivotal in our growth and future success.”
