Saracens Women will be without the services of Bryony Cleall, Vicky Fleetwood and Marlie Packer for the rest of the 2018-2019 Tyrrells Premier 15s season due to injury.

Marlie Packer picked up a shoulder injury during the Women’s Six Nations and has successfully undergone surgery.

Cleall and Fleetwood both picked up injuries in the win over Loughborough Lightning on Saturday 23 March.

Bryony Cleall suffered a broken fibula and doesn’t require surgery.

Vicky Fleetwood has an AC joint/shoulder injury and will go into surgery next week.

All three will now follow a return to play protocol with the aim of being back on the pitch this summer.

Head Coach Alex Austerberry said: "It’s always disappointing to lose three high-class players due to injury but our squad depth has been a strength for us this season.

“It's a great opportunity for other players to come into the team as we approach the business end of the season and I have every confidence that they will step up.”
