Nichaynes

Saracens are pleased to announce the signing of Nic Haynes from DMP Durham Sharks.

The talented hooker arrives in North London after  three seasons with DMP Durham Sharks and is excited to kick on in Saracens colours.

"I'm really grateful and excited for the opportunity to join Saracens. I can't wait to get started."

Haynes made 29 appearances in the North East and will add further depth to the Saracens squad.

Director of Rugby Alex Austerberry is excited by the potential of Haynes, as she prepares for the start of the 2023/24 season with her new club.

"Nic comes to Saracens from DMP where over the last couple of seasons, she illustrated both her current ability and potential. A strong ball carrier who makes good yardage through contact, Nic will certainly display her physical presence as well as competitive nature. Nic has gained a lot of experience over the last couple of seasons at club and at Durham University. She has illustrated her ability to be a consistent performer with the ability to throw effectively in the lineout.  Speaking with Nic, I know that she will embrace the opportunity here at Saracens and I am very excited to see her in action. I look forward to seeing her game grow here at Saracens."
