Alex Lozowski is extremely proud as he prepares to make his 150th appearance for the club when they travel to face Edinburgh in the Heineken Champions Cup.

The 29-year-old, who joined the club in 2016 has been an ever-present across the back-line, and in recent years has made the outside centre shirt for the Men in Black his own.

The North Londoners head to the Scottish capital needing a win to guarantee themselves a home tie in the Round of 16, meaning there is plenty at stake for the final match of the group stages.

Director of Rugby Mark McCall has named an unchanged starting line-up following the bonus point win over Lyon last week which ensured qualification to the knockout stage.

Mako Vunipola, captain Jamie George and Marco Riccioni start in the front-row and all have been called up to their countries for the upcoming Six Nations. Maro Itoje and Hugh Tizard continue in the second-row, with the settled back-row of Andy Christie, Ben Earl and Billy Vunipola.

Ivan van Zyl and Alex Goode will be managing the game as half-backs, with Nick Tompkins next to Lozowski in the midfield for his landmark appearance.

Sean Maitland, who was recalled to the Scotland squad earlier in the week is on the left wing, with Max Malins on the right and the in-form Elliot Daly who has been Heineken Star of the Match in two of the three pool matches so far at full-back.

On the bench Aled Davies is in line to make his 50th appearance for the club, and Robin Hislop could face his old side when called upon.

Lozowski is highly anticipating Sunday’s huge clash North of the Border.

“I’m very proud to be playing my 150th game for this team and to reach the milestone in what is a hugely important match is really exciting.”
