Fieldsigning

Saracens are pleased to confirm the arrival of talented hooker Bryony Field, ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Field joins from Loughborough Lightning, where she enjoyed a standout season, crossing for 13 tries in the league.

A strong presence in the tight and an exemplary operator at both scrum and lineout time, Field is excited to kick-on in North London.

"I’ve been at Loughborough for a long time and I'm ready to start a new chapter at Saracens. It's a chance to expose myself to the high-quality training environment here. I'm really looking forward to meeting the rest of the squad and the coaching team. I want to bring as much as possible to the club throughout the season and can't wait to get started."

Field's arrival further increases the front row depth at StoneX and Director of Rugby Alex Austerberry is thrilled to have secured the services of an incredibly talented prospect.

"Bryony is a good character and a very talented hooker, who has all the attributes to develop into a really fantastic player. Although young, Bryony has lots of experience and certainly a very competitive streak. Physical and hardworking, I have no doubt Bryony will thrive in our environment and that her game will grow from strength to strength. As well as being an abrasive player, Bryony has a well-rounded game and certainly knows where the try line is. I look forward to working with her and I am excited to see where her game can go."
