Worcester Warriors Women v Saracens WomensAllianz Premier 15s

Saracens are delighted to confirm the return of Canadian international second row Emma Taylor.

Taylor first joined Saracens in January 2021, before returning to Canada and representing her country in the Rugby World Cup, where they reached the semi-finals.

An industrious and hard-working second row, Taylor's presence in the engine room for Saracens will be a huge asset for Alex Austerberry's side for the coming season.

Speaking about her return to the club, Taylor admitted to there being a sense of 'unfinished business' having played in the 2021 final defeat to Harlequins.

"I’m really excited to return to Saracens and get back into a professional, intense training environment. I feel like my debut in 2021 was unique due to the pandemic, so I’m elated to have the opportunity to return, connect with supporters, and live the full Saracens experience. To be honest, I absolutely love playing for and with a team that has unfinished business."

Taylor joins several of her Canadian international teammates at StoneX for the coming season and Director of Rugby Alex Austerberry is excited for what she can bring to his side in her second spell at StoneX.

"Bringing Emma back to the club is fantastic. She's a proven player at the very top level of the game. Her physicality and ability to be dominant will be a great addition to our pack. Emma’s set-piece is undoubtedly strong. That will be a real asset and we know what a ferocious defender she can be. Her experience will be invaluable both on field and in and around the club. Competitive and driven, Emma will continue to grow and develop, and she will have a real impact on the squad."
