Chloe Broom signs for Saracens
Saracens are pleased to confirm the signing of talented scrum-half Chloe Broom.
The former DMP Sharks and Durham University player has been a standout performer over the last few seasons in both the Premier15s and the BUCS National League, and will add further depth to the scrum-half berth in North London.
Having won the BUCS National League title with Durham in 2022, Broom made 42 appearances for DMP Sharks in the Premier15s and is excited to kick-on at StoneX Stadium.
"I'm excited to be joining such a prestigious club, with a huge presence in the women's game. I can't wait to meet up with the team and get started."
Director of Rugby Alex Austerberry is looking forward to seeing Broom link up with her new teammates, feeling that she can continue to develop further in North London.
"I am delighted that Chloe has signed for Saracens. Â She's a very exciting young, talented scrum half, who has already gained significant experience in the Premier 15s. She's combative, tough, and hardworking and we have seen this consistently over the last few seasons. In attack, as well as the ability to distribute with great variety, Chloe has the desire and skills to challenge defences with her feet. Chloe is a player who we feel will really develop in our environment and as well as learning off England Red Roses in Leanne and Ella, we feel that she will drive the competition in the scrum half positional group.
