Captain Lotte Clapp says the whole squad are driven by their winning mentality as they look to regain the Allianz Premier 15s title tomorrow afternoon. 

The Women in Black head to Sixways for their fourth consecutive final and they will take on Exeter Chiefs for the chance to get their hands on the trophy once again. 

Head Coach Alex Austerberry has rewarded his side with an unchanged starting line-up after their highly impressive semi-final victory over Harlequins a fortnight ago which booked their place in the showpiece event.

Hannah Botterman, May Campbell and Kelsey Clifford continue in the front-row, with Fiona McIntosh and semi-final Player of the Match Poppy Cleall in the second-row. 

Back-rowers Mackenzie Carson, Vicky Fleetwood and co-captain Marlie Packer have the task of getting quick ball to an in-form backline.

Ella Wyrwas and Holly Aitchison maintain their partnership at nine and 10, with a midfield of Alev Kelter and Cara Wardle. 

Co-captain Lotte Clapp and Alysha Corrigan are on the wings, and Sarah McKenna will be looking for another accomplished performance from 15.

On the bench there is a huge injury boost as Georgia Evans returns to the squad, and Hannah Casey can also add her vast experience when required.

Clapp cannot wait to lead the team out on Friday and has a clear mission, to be on the winners podium after the final whistle. 

“We have a winning mentality and always want to be the best we can be. Once you get a taste for it, like we did with that first trophy, you want more and once you get that feeling it’s not something you want to give up.

To lift that trophy is something we have strived for all season.”
