2022/23 EPCR Pool Stage Fixture Dates Confirmed

EPCR have now confirmed the dates and times for the 2022/23 Heineken Champions Cup.

Sarries will open their campaign at home to Edinburgh on Sunday 11th December, before heading to Lyon the following Saturday for Round Two. 

They will then welcome Lyon to StoneX for a night game on Saturday 14th January, and round off the pool stages in the Scottish capital eight days later. 

The Men in Black are back in the top tier of European rugby this season, a competition that they have won three times in 2016, 2017 and 2019.

With BT Sport, SuperSport and beIN SPORTS broadcasting every match live in EPCR’s flagship tournament, the 2022/23 season which features the historic inclusion of the leading South African clubs is set to raise the bar even higher for professional club rugby.

  • Two pools of 12
  • Four pool stage rounds
  • Eight highest-ranked clubs from each pool qualify for the knockout stage
  • Ninth and 10th ranked clubs from each pool qualify for the EPCR Challenge Cup
