Saracens is excited to announce that Alex Goode has signed a new two-year contract extension.

The full-back, who is now the most capped Saracen of all-time with 357 appearances to his name is one of the most decorated players in the history of the club and he has put pen to paper meaning fans can enjoy another two seasons of his dazzling displays.

The 35-year-old has won five Premiership titles and three Heineken Champions Cups since bursting on to the scene in 2008, and his consistent performances have made him a constant fan-favourite for well over a decade.

Goode is delighted to have extended his stay at StoneX Stadium.

“Saracens is in my blood so I’m really excited to be staying here for another couple of seasons.

I’m incredibly proud to represent this club, the memories that we’ve made will last a lifetime and I really believe there are more to come as well.”

Director of Rugby Mark McCall praised Goode’s influence both on and off the pitch.

“We are thrilled that Goodey will be continuing his incredible career at the club. He continues to play consistently well week in week out on the one hand and is enormously supportive and helpful to our younger players on the other. As our playing squad continues to evolve, Alex’s experience and know how will allow many of the next generation to accelerate their development.”
