Hannah Casey Banner Edit

Saracens Women duo Hannah Casey and Georgie Gulliver have been named in the Barbarians FC Women's squad to face England Women at Twickenham on Sunday 2 June.

Gulliver, who announced her retirement ahead of the TP15s Final last month, will be aiming to make the final appearance of her career against a number of her former teammates. The experienced scrum-half won 37 caps for England during her career and won three Premiership titles in her five seasons at Saracens Women including starting in both Tyrrells Premier 15s finals.

Ireland international Casey, pictured above, has enjoyed a succesful first season back in the black and red of Saracens and her form has earned her a call-up to the famous invitational side.

On her selection, Casey said: "It's a huge honour and really exciting to be selected for the Barbarians. It's been a really enjoyable season with Sarries and I can't wait to step on the pitch alongside some great players.

"You don't get many opportunities to play at a stadium like Twickenham either and it'll be good to have a number of the Saracens girls involved either in Baabaas or England colours."

Eight nations are represented in the Barbarians squad with Casey and Gulliver selected alongside the likes of England legends Rochelle Clarke and Danielle Waterman, France's Gaelle Mignot, Australia's Dalena Dennison, New Zealand's Kristina Sue and Wales' Jasmine Joyce.

The sides meet at Twickenham at 12:45 BST on 2 June as part of a historic double header with the men’s match for the Quilter Cup kicking off at 15:30 BST.
