Mako Vunipola believes the entire 23-man squad proved just what it means to be a part of this Saracens team with their actions against Bath on Friday night.

A Sean Maitland try and 20 points from the boot of Owen Farrell ultimately secured the win for Mark McCall’s men, but the performance was built on some excellent physicality and defiance in defence as the hosts were restricted to just four Rhys Priestland penalties.

Vunipola insists it was that togetherness that he hopes the team can build on as the focus turns once again to the Champions Cup and back-to-back fixtures against Munster.
