England V South Africa Rugby World Cup 2019 Final

Vincent Koch made history on Saturday by becoming the first player to win four major competitions in a calendar year.

The Saracens prop began his trophy-laden 2019 with triumph in the Heineken Champions Cup before helping the Men in Black to win the Gallagher Premiership.

South Africa defeated England to win the Rugby World Cup.

He turned his attention to South Africa in the summer as they were victorious in the Rugby Championship, setting themselves up nicely for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The Springboks started the tournament with defeat to New Zealand, a match Koch did not play in, but went on to record five wins – with Koch featuring in all - to reach the final where they came up against England.

The 29-year-old was introduced to the action in the second half, going up against eight of his Saracens teammates, and helped his country to a third World title.

An amazing achievement for Vincent and everyone at the club is proud of his accomplishments. We hope there are many more to come!
