Saracens Women v Firwood Waterloo LadiesTyrrells Premier 15s

There’s been a lot of change in the Saracens Women’s squad in the summer ahead of 2018/19 Tyrrells Premier 15s.

Three players are confirmed to have left, two are unavailable due their inclusion in the England Sevens squad with seven coming through the door at Allianz Park.

THE INS

Sarah McKenna
McKenna returns to the club for a second spell following an impressive stint on the international stage with both England Sevens and the Red Roses

Hannah Casey
Winger Casey, a former Ireland international, also returns to Saracens after plying her trade with the club prior to the 2014 Rugby World Cup.

Jodie Rettie
Utility forward Rettie represented Scotland for the first time in 2018 Six Nations and joins from Championship side Thurrock.

Hannah Duffy
Another addition from Thurrock, second row Duffy heads to North London off the back of an impressive year with Essex club.

Vicky Fleetwood
A familiar face to most Sarries fans, Fleetwood won the Premiership with the Women in Black before going on the sevens circuit with England. She won a gold medal at the commonwealth games this year.

Chantelle Miell
Miell will link-up with the squad in October. The ex-England Sevens and Bristol player is currently playing for Sydney University in Australia.

Eloise Hayward
Scrum-half Hayward arrives from Worcester Valkyries and has represented England at Under-18 level.

THE OUTS

Garnet Mackinder is now with Wasps while Italian lock Valeria Fedrighi has moved to play in France. Prop Sam Martinez Gion has returned home to the Netherlands. Everyone at Saracens Women wishes the trio all the best for the future.

ENGLAND SEVENS

Helena Rowland and Emma Uren remain signed to Sarries but are unavailable for Premier 15s selection due to their recent inclusion in full time England Sevens programme. The club wishes them the best of luck!
