Saracens can today confirm that Tamara Taylor has joined DMP Durham Sharks on a short-term loan to gain more regular game time.

The England centurion has recently returned from injury and an opportunity has arisen to get back in to Premier 15s action.

Head Coach Alex Austerberry says this is a great move for everyone involved.

“The opportunity has arisen for Tam to move on loan to DMP Durham Sharks. It allows Tam much needed game time in her return to full fitness following injury as she pushes for selection with Saracens.”

He added: “It also assists DMP with their selection challenges. Ultimately, it is an option that positively benefits all parties and most of all, it is a decision that has kept Tam at the very heart of it. We look forward to welcoming back Tam in to the fold shortly and she remains an important figure in the coaching team.”
