Head Coach Alex Austerberry says Saracens Women will embrace this Saturday’s ‘Game Changer’ against Harlequins in the next instalment of a thrilling rivalry.

The in-form Women in Black, who sit top of the table head to the Twickenham Stoop knowing that a win will leave them in an even stronger position in the Premier 15s.

The front-row is unchanged after the high-scoring win against Worcester Warriors last weekend, with Hannah Botterman, May Campbell and Alex Ellis looking for more success at scrum-time.

Sonia Green and Georgia Evans continue their second-row partnership, whilst Mackenzie Carson comes in to the back-row alongside Jodie Rettie and co-captain Marlie Packer.

Ella Wyrwas, who scored in the win over Worcester stays at scrum-half, and Holly Aitchison moves in to wear the number 10 shirt.

Alev Kelter and new centurion Hannah Casey stay in the midfield, with Alysha Corrigan and Rachel Laqeretabua returning to the back-three whilst co-captain Lotte Clapp starts at full-back.

On the bench Catha Jacobs will be looking to continue the strong start to her Saracens career, and Chantelle Miell returns after a spell with England Sevens.

Austerberry knows that his side have a tough task ahead of them tomorrow afternoon.

“It is going to be a massive occasion with two good sides going hard at each other. There is a big rivalry that has grown up between us.

We’ve reflected on things that we have done well in recent weeks but also looked at things we have to do better.

Quins are a quality side so we need to make sure we nullify some of their threats, but every week is the same for us, we’ll prepare in the same way and give it our best.”
