RWC19: Figallo starts against France
Juan Figallo has earned a start for Argentina in their opening World Cup match against France on Saturday (KO 08H15).
The Saracens prop is appearing at his third World Cup having been part of Los Pumas' squad in 2011 and 2015.
Argentina face France, England, USA and Tonga in Pool C.
With both years combined, Figallo has made seven appearances in the tournament and this weekend's match will be his 31st cap - his 26th start.
Coach Mario Ledesma has named his strongest possible team for Saturday’s Pool C opener, with Argentina looking to end a nine-match losing streak.
Nicolas Sanchez has been given the nod at fly-half for the twice World Cup semi-finalists ahead of Benjamin Urdapilleta, who will start on the bench.
Former captain Agustin Creevy, who often rotates the start with Julian Montoya, is named at hooker in a pack led by current skipper Pablo Matera while Ledesma has gone for the experienced Matias Moroni on the right wing with talented young flyer Santiago Carreras covering the back three from the bench.
