Camps story 2

The Saracens Rugby Camp department have had a busy couple of weeks at clubs across many various counties – Dartfordians RFC, Witham RFC, Hitchin RFC, Chesham RFC and StoneX stadium.

All clubs hosted two day skills camps with an average of over 100 participants per day and we welcomed player visits/Q&A’s from Jevaughn Warren, Harvey Beaton, Kaden Pearce Paul, Obinna Nkwocha and Francis Moore who all impressed and inspired the participants with their stories of their professional journeys.

StoneX stadium also held a sold out Kicking Clinic with expertise for the participants from Tom Mills & Ruben De Haas and the camp at Hitchin saw the inclusion of 30 girls in their own training sessions and a player appearance from Anna Goddard. There were lots of smiley faces from tired kids and positive feedback from happy parents! Huge thanks to all our players for taking time out of their busy schedules to come along and inspire the next generation of talented rugby players coming through our camps programmes.

We now turn our attention to a StoneX Stadium camp during May half term, followed by a full programme of camps throughout the summer at clubs across our communities in Kent, Herts, Essex and our highlight of the summer being our four day residential camp at Harrow School – which is now nearly sold out. Included in this camp; training, strength and conditioning, nutritional information, pool recovery sessions and fun activities to bond the team during the evenings. Plus, the proposed opportunity to watch and join in on a Men’s Squad training session!

All details for camps through the Spring and Summer can be found below.
