Jack Pattinson will join the Saracens Academy staff as Under 18s Head Coach, for the upcoming 2023/24 season. He will further strengthen the quality of coaching expertise in the Saracens U18 academy programme.

He will work across the academy pathway where his knowledge and expertise will add further value and help maximise the talent in the Saracens Academy region.

Jack joins Saracens from the successful London Irish academy programme and was an integral part of the coaching team that led the London Irish U18 team to the Academy League title last season.

Jack has worked at London Irish for the last five years and has extensive experience across the whole of the pathway from the Developing Player Programme(DPP) through to U18 academy league. He will use his knowledge and vision to build on the strong foundations that have been put down by James Tirrell.

Academy Manager Mike Hynard is delighted to welcome Pattinson to the club.

“I’m really looking forward to working with Jack this coming season. He’s a talented, hard-working coach who shares a very similar coaching philosophy to ours and has a clear vision on how best he can maximise the potential of the young players in our development programmes.”
