Lotte Clapp’s ‘Women in Black’ are the next team up at the StoneX Stadium when they take on Worcester Warriors on Saturday, 29 January.

It is a 2.00pm kick-off and it will be a big game for the table-topping Allianz Premier15s side.

The game will be the final run-out before the ‘Game Changer’ against reigning champions Harlequins at The Twickenham Stoop of Saturday, 5 February. The Quins are the only team to have beaten Saracens Women in the league this season, having come to the StoneX and taken our unbeaten record with a 36-17 triumph in December.

Mark McCall’s team have to follow their European adventures with an away day of our traditional London rivals, although these days they have to travel to Coventry to face Wasps. That game is on Sunday, 30 January (3.00pm kick-off) and a week later we host Bath at the StoneX (Saturday, 5 February, 3.00pm kick-off).

The Gallagher Premiership is playing throughout the Six Nations, which means the ‘Men in Black’ will be short of six senior players – Owen Farrell, Jamie George, Maro Itoje and Max Malins with England, Nick Tompkins with Wales and Andy Christie with Scotland.

It is always a tough time to play without senior players and so the support from the stands and the terraces becomes even more important. Come and be the 16th man for the game against a Bath team who are looking on the up.

When the two sides met at The Rec earlier in the season it was a bit of a red-letter day for Owen Farrell and co. Malins grabbed a hat-trick, George went over for two tries, Itoje got another and the skipper kicked 19 points as we raced from a record half-time scoreline of 45-0 to 71-17 at the end. Wow!

Will we see more of the same on 5 February – the day the Six Nations kicks-off with Ireland v Wales (2.15pm kick-off) and Scotland v England (4.45pm kick-off) - and can we match the 10 tries we scored in Bath?

Come and join us to try to find out the answers and then watch the Calcutta Cup match after. It promises to be a great day of rugby.
