Saracens High School is celebrating another year of exceptional academic results, with pupils continuing to achieve outstanding outcomes and exceed national measures.

The school has celebrated an impressive set of GCSE results, with pupils achieving results that outperform national headline measures despite serving a community where 60% of young people are eligible for the pupil premium.

Pupil premium students at Saracens High School have achieved nearly one and a half grades more than the national average in each of their subjects, while the school’s pupils have also outperformed their non pupil premium peers.

The results follow another hugely positive year for the school, with students progressing to leading universities including UCL, Durham and the University of Leeds.

Saracens High School has also celebrated sending three times the national average proportion of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to university, with 19% progressing to Russell Group universities compared to less than 5% nationally.

Executive Principal Dr Matt Stevens said: “Simply exceptional. This is only possible when pupils and staff live our values of discipline and hard work and they are supported by our wonderful families. Congratulations to everyone involved.”

The achievements are a reflection of the continued work of Saracens Multi Academy Trust, which was established in 2017 as part of Saracens’ commitment to creating a lasting educational legacy within the local community.

Saracens High School opened in 2018, before Saracens Bell Lane joined the Trust in 2024 and Saracens Broadfields joined in 2025. The Trust now supports more than 2,200 young people across its schools.

The relationship between Saracens and the Trust is built around a shared commitment to developing young people and helping them realise their potential, with the club’s values of discipline, work ethic, honesty and team spirit reflected throughout the school community.

World Cup winner and Saracens legend Richard Hill has seen first hand the impact of the school and the wider Trust.

“Saracens made a distinct decision that they wanted to support the local community. The opportunity to support the local community so that these children are growing up with a great education, challenging the young people to strive to be ambitious and trying to make the most of everything that’s given to them.”

Following a visit to Saracens High School, Hill added: “The kind kids who showed me around were amazing, incredibly enthusiastic not only about each of the subjects but also their staff members. They clearly have a strong relationship with them.”

Saracens captain and England and British & Irish Lions international Maro Itoje has also spoken about the importance of the shared values between the club and the school.

“The four Saracens values are foundational to what we do as a rugby club and to see it translated to the foundation of what the school does, all of those four values have an important role in all of the children’s lives.

“Each one of those pupils hold those values dear to their heart. To see them adopt it, to see them live it, it was amazing.”

With another year of outstanding results, the achievements of Saracens High School’s pupils provide further evidence of the positive impact of the Saracens community extending well beyond the rugby pitch.

Congratulations to all pupils, families and staff at Saracens High School on their outstanding achievements.
