Eroni Mawi says it will be a huge honour to make his 50th appearance for the club when he comes on against London Irish on Sunday.

The Fijian, who has been a revelation in the front-row will bring up his half century in the local derby at StoneX Stadium which could see the Men in Black confirm top-spot in the Gallagher Premiership with a victory.

Director of Rugby Mark McCall will welcome back the majority of his international stars who missed the trip to Northampton for what is the final home match of the regular season.

Mako Vunipola, Theo Dan and Marco Riccioni start in the front-row, with Maro Itoje and Callum Hunter-Hill combining in the second-row.

Nick Isiekwe will operate at blindside flanker again, alongside Ben Earl and Jackson Wray at the base of the scrum.

Scrum-half Ivan van Zyl joins captain Owen Farrell as his half-back partner, and the trusted midfield combination of Nick Tompkins and Alex Lozowski returns. Sean Maitland is on the left wing, with Max Malins on the right and Alex Goode at full-back.

On the bench there is another opportunity for Olly Hartley to impress, and Rotimi Segun will be looking to continue his form which saw him score twice at Franklin’s Gardens.

Mawi is excited to bring up a landmark appearance for the North Londoners.

“It’s always an honour to play for this incredible club. To reach my 50th appearance is another step towards my growth and I’m looking forward to the many more to come!”
