Elliot Daly is full of excitement as he prepares to make his highly anticipated return from injury against Bath on Saturday.

The England and Lions international has been on the sidelines since having surgery on his hamstring back in January, but is now primed and raring to go for the business end of the season.

Director of Rugby Mark McCall has named a youthful side for the trip to The Recreation Ground, with five players due to make their Premiership debuts on the final day of the regular season.

Alex Wardell, Samson Adejimi, Kaden Pearce-Paul, Max Eke and Charlie Bracken could all make their first appearances in the top-flight for the clash in the West Country.

Eroni Mawi, co-captain Ethan Lewis and Christian Judge start in a strong front-row, with Wardell alongside Callum Hunter-Hill in the engine room.

Nathan Michelow makes his first Premiership start after impressing from the bench against Northampton, and he is joined by Toby Knight and Ollie Stonham at the base of the scrum.

Ruben de Haas and Manu Vunipola will look control the game as half-backs, and an exciting centre combination of Olly Hartley and Josh Hallett will bring plenty of power to the midfield.

Ben Harris is on the left wing, with Rotimi Segun on the right and co-captain Daly back in the 15 shirt.

On the bench there are four potential debuts, and Dom Morris returns, who will no doubt be looking to inject his searing pace when called upon.

Daly says he is hugely excited to get back out on the pitch after three months out.

“I can’t wait to get back out there again on Saturday. It’s been a long journey back but thanks to all of the medical and S&C staff who have helped me along the way. We want to build some momentum ahead of the semi final so it’s a big day for all of us.”
