ABOUT juan martin

Argentinian International Juan Martin Gonzalez Samso joined the Men in Black from London Irish after the Rugby World Cup in 2023.

The back-row forward, formerly of Jaguares, made his international debut for Argentina in 2022 – coming off the bench to score a try against Romania – and has since gone on to feature in the Rugby Championship as well as the Rugby World Cup racking up 25 appearances for the national team at just 23.

Gonzalez made a positive impact during his time in West London having consistently topped the tackling charts for Irish across his short stint at the club. He joined fellow countryman Lucio Cinti in making the short trip across the capital, following in the footsteps of other Argentinians who have succeeded at Sarries such as Juan Figallo and Marcelo Bosch.
