PLAYER BIO
FERGUS BURKE
Fergus Burke is a New Zealand-born Scotland international fly-half who joined Saracens from the Crusaders ahead of the 2024/25 season. Having developed through the Crusaders Academy, Burke made his professional debut for Canterbury in 2019 before making his Super Rugby debut for the Crusaders in 2020.
Burke played an important role in the Crusaders’ success in Super Rugby, helping the side secure titles in 2022 and 2023. He also impressed for Canterbury in New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship, finishing as the competition’s leading points scorer in 2022.
Since arriving at StoneX Stadium, Burke has continued to develop as a key option at fly-half, bringing attacking threat, strong distribution and an effective kicking game. English-qualified at the time of his arrival, he later committed his international future to Scotland, making his Test debut against Fiji in July 2025.
Burke continues to represent both Saracens and Scotland, gaining valuable experience at club and international level as he develops his game in the Premiership.
