PLAYER BIO
THEO DAN
Theo Dan is an England international hooker who has progressed through the Saracens academy to establish himself as a key member of the first team. Having joined the club’s junior academy at 16, Dan developed through the pathway before making his senior debut against Harlequins in the Premiership Rugby Cup in November 2021.
After gaining valuable experience with Ampthill and making his Premiership debut against Gloucester, Dan enjoyed a breakthrough 2022/23 season. He became a regular in the Saracens side, scoring five tries in the Premiership and playing an important role in the club’s title-winning campaign, including the final victory over Sale Sharks.
Dan’s performances earned him international recognition in 2023. He made his England debut in August that year and was named in the Rugby World Cup squad just two days later. He went on to score twice during the tournament in France, helping England finish third.
A dynamic hooker, Dan combines his work at the scrum and lineout with powerful ball-carrying and an ability to make an impact around the pitch. In April 2026, he signed a new deal to remain at Saracens, continuing his journey with the club where he began his development.
